Fields
- A new field type, User Pulldown, is available. This type allows a pulldown field to be configured with option menu items that match the list of users in a user group. If you wish to convert an existing pulldown field to be a user pulldown, please use the steps in this Knowledge Base article.
- The maximum number of fields per form has been increased.
- Text fields can now accommodate up to 160 characters.
- Date fields can now be set to a blank or "null" value during the Task operation.
- A Last Updated Date field is now available in every form. It is automatically updated with the date and time when the record was last modified. This enables reporting (Saved Queries) and metrics (Saved Charts) based on the date/time records were most recently updated. In previous versions, this could only be done in History reports.
- Assigned To, Reporter and Status can now be set as Key Fields for a form. Pulldown fields can now be set as Primary Key Fields.
- All obsolete option menu items for a pulldown can now be deleted in a single operation.
Reports
- Reports generated in the Metrics section can now include multiple forms.
- New options are available in the Edit Results operation:
- A record can be changed to route it to the previous state and be assigned to users in particular roles such as the Reporter, State Manager or Last Assignee for a particular state.
- Data can be appended in Text or TextArea fields.
- A field's value can be set to blank ("null") or overwritten with a specific value for Date, Link, Text, TextArea and Url field types.
General
- Assigned To and Status can now be configured as required Task Fields via the "Require Selection" option available in the New State and New Assignee transition properties. A utility is available to change all transitions to use this new option.
- Field help can now be displayed in the View Page.
- Url attachments can now be added on the Add and Submit pages and during the Task operation.
